Hello everyone,
I am a PhD student, currently staying in Denmark, and a native speaker in Greek and Italian languages. I used to work as a language teacher for Italian learners and a translator for more than 15 years. I would like to practice English with a language partner in exchange to Italian or modern Greek (grammar, vocabulary and/or speaking training). My aim is that to improve my English speaking skills.

concerning english, I've studied in UK and i am using the language every day for many years.

As we never truly "master" a language — not even our native one — and even less the autodidacts like myself, I'm always in search of "perfection".
I fell in love with English at a very young age, and I have always been more comfortable communicating in it than in French, even while in France — embarrassing, I know.😉
After more than a decade living abroad, it defamiliarized me with my native tongue; however, I'm not here to reconnect with Greek (though I could help those interested in speaking it), but to practice my English (or even French) while meeting people from all around the globe.

Hello! I’m Christoforos, a 23-year-old Greek working at CERN! I’m looking for French-speaking (and possibly Japanese-speaking) people to have discussions with to practice these languages. I love learning languages and am a huge fan of immersion-based learning!
My Languages:
Greek: Native tongue.
English: C2 level (Cambridge); I’ve been using it academically and professionally for many years.
Japanese: Officially at N4 level, but my understanding is higher due to consuming extensive content over the past four years, traveling to Japan, and speaking the language. I’m well-versed in Japanese history and have a deep passion for Japanese culture (beyond just anime!).
French: I reached B2 level at 16yo but have since forgotten much. I restarted learning a few months ago and improving it is my current focus!
I list some topics below in which we can have an interesting conversation in French and any other language (or combination of languages)! Hi there! I'm Georgiana. I’m originally from Greece but have been calling the Netherladns home for my whole life now. I’m a bit of a language nerd; I’m already fluent in Greek, English, and Dutch, and I also speak German and French at a B2 level along with some basic Spanish. Despite all that, I’ve always wanted to master Japanese. I’ve been tackling it on and off for about two years now, and while it’s definitely a challenge, I’m determined to crush those JLPT exams eventually!
When I’m not running my digital marketing business, you’ll probably find me watching anime or K-dramas, hanging out with my two cats, or at a pole fitness class.
